Aelin Blackthorn

Being the youngest of three Aelin was babied a lot well growing up as well as picked on by her older sister and brother. Both her parents worked a lot but when they were home they gave each child as much attention as they could. Born into a mage family, Aelin was taught how to use her magic from an early age and to never learn the darker side of magic. Even though she was picked on by her two older siblings she knew they loved her very much and were and still are very protective of her.When Aelin was 10 her parents were killed in an accident well coming home. Her older brother who had just turned 18 at the time had to take over everything, something no 18-year-old should do. They had to move out of the house Aelin had known for her whole life and move into a small little little house that barely fit the three of them. Her brother worked odd little jobs trying to earn any money for them to survive, many nights they went without food. As Aelin grew older she helped in anyway she could, but her siblings insisted she study as she would make something of herself someday.That didn't mean she didn't let loose at times and go and hang out with her friends and have fun. Her siblings never approved of her friends saying they were going to influence Aelin into doing drugs and stuff. Aelin knew better though and never partook in any of the drugs her friends did, but she did drink a little. Just before final exams were to start Aelin found out she was pregnant, the father of her baby was a guy she had a one night stand with at a party.Of course, her sister and brother weren't happy with Aelin as it made her take a year off of what would have been her first year in university. She had her little girl and rather than put her up for adoption she made it work, she went to school and worked to support herself and her daughter. Of course, her brother and sister helped as they loved their niece just as much as Aelin loved her daughter. Her daughter now seven years old is learning about her gifts from her father whom she took after as a Draconian. Aelin lives her life for her daughter and will do anything to support her and allow her to do the things she never got to well growing up.She never thought she would ever run into the guy she had the one-night stand with, but they had and surprisingly he wasn't mad about hearing he had a daughter. Getting to know him she slowly started to fall for him and seeing how he was with their daughter made her fall even more.

Personality

Aelin is a pretty hard-working type of person and will do anything and everything to make sure her tasks are done. When it comes to her daughter she is very protective of her and never leaves her with people she doesn't know that well. She is otherwise a pretty nice person and rarely ever gets mad, but she has been told when she does it's like she is a different person all together.
